Learn Grantwriting from a grantmaker. How do you connect with foundations? Compose a concept paper that results in a request for proposal? Document the need for your program? Create a fundable budget? Design an evaluation plan? You will leave this workshop with the confidence and tools to write successful grant proposals.

The following is a series of four FREE training workshops available for current and recent GPOA Foundation grantees. You are encouraged to participate in all four so that you can get to know fellow grantees and discover opportunities for collaboration and mutual support.
Board Development: 10 Steps To Success
Is your board actively engaged as Advocates, Askers or Ambassadors for your organization? Are board meetings productive and efficient? Do you have a committee structure that works? Does your board recruit others to your cause? Do board members give donations themselves? This workshop will help you assess your board’s performance and design a plan for improvement. Board Presidents and Executive Directors are encouraged to attend this workshop together!

What is your organization’s public image? Are you positioned in a unique niche or lumped together with similar agencies? Is the value of your work understood by your target markets?
