Welcome to the GPOA Foundation's online home. We hope that you will get a quick glimpse of the projects that we have funded in the past few years and ideas for the future. Our grant guidelines are online for your review along with the funding cycle due dates.
During the few past years, the prevailing emotion for this area was "hope". From our perspective, it has been so uplifting and gratifying to see the renewed effective nonprofit organizations working together to make New Orleans a better place.
We will continue to serve the community by building partnerships with local programs. If your program falls within our funding priorities, consider sending a concept paper to us in the next cycle.

Beginning with the February 1, 2009 concept papers, we now require all concept papers to be submitted on our form. We have included the form, in Microsoft Word format, on our Grantmaking page. We will not consider grant applications that do not use the GPOA Concept Paper form.
These students are part of the new GPOA Scholars Program. GPOA provides scholarship support to five area high schools: Cabrini, De La Salle, Jesuit, St. Mary's, and St. Augustine.
